This privacy policy explains how Foundiny collects, uses, and shares information when you use foundiny.com. Foundiny does not sell products directly and does not take payments.
What we collect
- Email: if you join the list or unlock the shot doctor, we store your email address and where you signed up.
- Shot doctor inputs: the dose, yield, time, taste and any note you type. Saved recipes stay in your own browser.
- Site analytics: cookies and standard logs to understand traffic and improve the site. This may include a hashed IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referrer.
How we use it
- To send the emails you signed up for. You can unsubscribe from any email.
- To diagnose your espresso shot and explain the result.
- To count clicks to partner shops so we know which recommendations help.
- To prevent abuse and keep the site secure.
Who we share with
- Supabase (database hosting) and our own mail server (email list)
- Google Analytics and PostHog (site analytics)
- An AI model provider, which receives shot doctor inputs (never your email) to write the explanation
- Retail and affiliate partners, only when you click through to them
- Government or law enforcement when legally required
We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete it, or opt out of marketing emails at any time. Email privacy@foundiny.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use cookies for analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings. Some site features may not work without them.
Children
Foundiny is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
