Espresso needs the finest grind of any method. Small moves matter: one step on most grinders shifts the shot by several seconds.

If your espresso tastes wrong

Fresh beans hold a grind setting.

Coffee changes as it ages, so a setting that works on day 10 drifts by day 40. A subscription keeps the beans in the window.
