Grind settings chart. Dial: 40 steps, 1 = finest. Steps 1-20 are small espresso steps, 21-40 are bigger filter steps. Settings 1-20 move in very small steps for espresso and 21-40 move in bigger steps for filter coffee. All starting points are from Baratza's Encore ESP manual.

Settings are starting points. Burrs wear, beans differ and two grinders of the same model can be calibrated a step or two apart. Taste, then adjust.
