Baratza Encore
Grind settings chart. Dial: 40 steps, 1 = finest, 40 = coarsest. Starting points come from Baratza's Encore manual. Baratza's newer brew guides, tested with lighter roasts, start a few steps coarser for V60 and Chemex, which is why those ranges are wider.

Where these numbers come from
Settings are starting points. Burrs wear, beans differ and two grinders of the same model can be calibrated a step or two apart. Taste, then adjust.
